Britney Spears is in New York City

Britney Spears has been spending time in NYC trying to plug her new song Womanizer.Â If you remember, the song was pushed back due to an undisclosed issue with â€œthe mixâ€ (sounded like crap).. but has since been released.. and yet, still sounds like crap!Â Click here to listen to it (not advisable).

Funny story, she was obviously not thinking during an interview.. this is what she said to the Star:

Of her big night at the VMAs earlier this month, during which she picked up the first awards of her career, she said: “It’s a cool video, but I think by far I’ve done videos that are way better, so I was really shocked that it got the award. It was just inspiring, though, because now, going forward with the videos that I’m doing now, I can really go there and do something crazy and see what happens.”

So she is admitting that Piece of Me, that won her the 3 VMAs this year, was really not all that great and she was surprised by winning..Â Who would have seen that coming?Â So I guess what we take away from all this.. MTV gave her the awards for a half-assed video and Britney is too stupid to realize what they did for her, so she’s telling the world that even she was surprised. MORON!
