Katy Perry.. the Strawberry on the Today Show
Artists.. aren’t they something. They have their own way of expressing themselves, in the songs they write, the way they dress and even the way they live their lives. And truly, I’m good with that. I might poke fun sometimes (most times) and laugh sometimes, but it’s all good.
They have ways of doing things that might be strange to us, but as long as they make great music, we’re ok with that too. An example, when asked about recording an album:

One of the unique things about me recording is that I like to put down the vocal track with all the lights off in the studio. If I remember the lyrics, I don’t want anything to get in the way.I want to be a voice in the darkness. That’s not weird is it? It’s not like I’m naked or anything.
Naked isn’t weird, it would be good.. great in fact. But that’s not the point right now.
What I don’t understand is why Katy Perry showed up to the Today Show looking like a giant strawberry with a waist line that reminds me of Pee Wee Herman?.. I mean really, how is that even remotely attractive? Is that her image of what sexy looks like? Let’s go back to the naked thing, that would be better, but on family TV we could go with a bikini, or short dress, we aren’t picky. But why a strawberry?
